How can museums remain centred on people and purpose while becoming future‑ready in a period of accelerating technological and organisational transformation? As AI reshapes workflows, decision‑making, and institutional cultures – while at the same time cyberattacks increasingly target cultural organisations – museums face urgent questions of leadership, preparedness, and long‑term stability. These challenges go beyond technology and concern how institutions evolve, manage risk, and maintain trust.
“Human after all – Museums in the wake of AI” er tema under NEMO European Museum Conference 2026 i Vilnius, Litauen 11.–13. oktober. Temaet tar opp flere aspekter ved museenes ansvar i en verden hvor KI har større tilstedeværelse:
